Default Relocation

My wife and I were discussing a possible relocation. We would want an area without New York's horrid winters (New York is where we now live), Florida's unbearably hot and muggy summers (my inlaws live in Florida), and without a place that has scorpions, earthquake potential, etc. Does such a place actually exist???

Default I've been doing some research for a trip to Denver...The thing that suprised me the most was their

weather...More mild than NY!!!!! I would not have thought that...Also, the city is young...has lots of culture....I'm excited about seeing it first hand...

I am a winter HATER....and have been researching "snow bird" bird locales for some time...( I am in NY too)...I like San Diego..but, it DOES have eathquake potential...

Yes, but you have to die first to get there.

Default What about Hawaii?

It's pretty much summer there all year round. The temperature only reaches upper 80's during the summer and you always get cool sea breaze. a coworker of mine worked there for a number of years and he loved living there. From what my coworker told me, the real estate priced in Hawaii has dropped quit a bit since the early 90's. You might want to look into that.

Be forewarned...Denver has some of the WORST drivers I have ever seen in my entire life...bar none!!!

I'm from Dallas where driving on the freeways requires a NASCAR license!

If you like to drive fast, move here and get used to driving S-L-O-W.

I want to slit my wrists everytime I get on Denver streets.

Default I love our unbearable summers, I love watching northeners wilt, and I have the golf courses

all to myself :-D

Remember: Florida = No state income tax, and favorable bankruptcy and marriage laws.

Besides, even dog houses here are air-conditioned.

Default NC coast, but no jobs there for most people.

Wilmington is my favorite small city period!
