What was wrong with the old one? It’s not that easy. Look for Immo delete bosch 7.5. There is a 4 digit code that is linked to cluster and key. If you good at electronics you could swap the EPROMs over I guess.

Default Depends on if there’s IMMO

I would send it off to someone and get the IMMO turned off for like $20. Depending on what car and year you have you may have IMMO on your car and it won’t work. If you do have it just send it off and get it defeated. The way to tell if you have the immobilizer is to turn your key to the on position and when all the lights light up on the dash you will see a car with a key through it. If it’s not there then you can plug the ecu straight in and you would be ok.

Default I replaced mine

If we're talking about the part also referred to as the comfort control module, it was a plug and play swap for my 2001 TT Quattro. An exact part number match is required. I had to program the keys to the module, which was easy to do.

Mine failed due to excessive moisture that got into the trunk when the convertible rear window failed. I fixed it for a while by cleaning the corrosion off the circuit board, but ultimately I had to replace it.

Good luck!

How did you program the key fob? I replaced my CCM and have been waiting to take it someone to program my keys.
