Reset ECU?

Hi, I've got a wierd bug in my computer. Various things keep happening to the windows. Sometimes they won't go all the way up, sometimes when I shut the doors they won't go up that extra half inch that they drop when they open. Now I have lost one-touch functionality on the driver side only. And the window won't automatically go up and down upon opening and closing the door. Will resetting the ECU fix this until I talk to my service department? If so how is it done? Is it just a matter of unplugging the battery and reconnecting it? Do I need to let the car idle for a specified amount of time once it is reconnected? Any help would be appreciated.

Don't think so ....

There is a reset procedure for the window controllers themselves. Put the window all the way up and release the button. Then, pull the button up and hold it for at least 5 seconds. This resets the window controller. The normal operations for the window should return. Don't exactly know why the controller gets confused but this procedure corrected mine.
