Rev Engine to Start....
I picked up a really nice (IMO) '02 TT.... it has been running great, but occasionally I have a starting problem.
The engine will turnover and start, however if I dont rev the engine for 5 seconds or so, the engine will die. After revving the engine, that car runs fine and more oft than not subsequent starts are not problematic.
If the car sits for a couple days, I have to rev the engine to get it started.
I did have a P0411 code come up after having the A/C recharged. I cleared the code and since then the CEL hasnt reappeared.
Could the two (P0411 & starting issues) be related?
Battery, Alternator, phantom battery drain?
