The Roach is running like the Devil

...Installed my extrude honed manifold and Evo shield finally after 3 years of waiting.
Popped in a new O2 sensor and a new MAF...check all my vac lines and cleared codes.
Damn this thing is FUN...I can see my DL evaporating before my very eyes =D

I wonder if theres any benefit to shrick cams along with what I have?

1.Pulled the intake manifold

2.reassembled the intake
3. "smoked" the system and checked for leaks...none found
4.Test run
5.Big Grins

updated cams on the 1.8t without much bigger turbos and more tuning.....but hell, as long as you are at it! ;-)

Absoultely do the cams. The OEM cams are pretty weak.

I just wonder if the hp/$ is worth it. $1000 -/+ PLUS install for maybe 20hp

I wouldn't do cams without the large port AEB head and matching manifold

especially with the smaller Stage III turbo.
