Default shift points

I understand that 5500 is the best point to shift, but on average, how fast are you going at that point? I am right at 50mph. 1st is 25, 2nd 50, 3rd 70, 4th 95, 5th-6th @115 or so... Does this seem right, It seems slow to me..

Default Those are nice tips! Kinda close though, could that cause valence melting?

The shift rpm is about right. If I go over 5750 I start to lose power in the next gear. But yeah, doesn't seem like you're going all that fast at those shift points. I wonder if the 6 speed tranny is slowing us modded people down.

Default THANKS! I have the same concern, but so far no adverse effects. It is....

hard for me to get over to the muffler shop that did my install to get that corrected. I went there once and all the guy did was use a crobar to pull it one way. He is gonna have to drop it and re-weld.

They are 4" Bullets, I'll get a better shot once I have them re-centered.

Default I know it. It's killing me that I have it, and havent been able to install yet.

I got my car back from the dealerio and i still have the noise. i called them and told them that because they didnt fix it, that im gonna wait until something catastrophic happens. then, it will be all to obvious what the problem is, and they'll know what it is that needs to be fixed. Right now its a shot in the dark.

lower than expected due to shorter gearing on the 6 speed

Default i havent looked lately, but its right about where you are seeing it

you probably know this, but unless you have some slipping, all 6 spds will be at the same speed at a given rpm.

Default You can tell when to shift from looking at the power curve or in gear acceleration....
