Should I do this.
I found a guy who is going to do 2.5 or 3 inch mandrel bent stainless exhaust for me. (YAYYY)
He doesn't get his bender in for about a month and a half, we were talking in his office and I said more than anything I want the car to sound more mean. Like his 966
He suggested deleting the muffler and just welding the tips back on to some straight pipe. He said he did this on his boxter for fun, and it actually sounded awesome. I however never heard it.
The guy does amazing work, he said he'd do it for 25 bucks.
Should I do it, or will I regret it? Has anyone done this before?

so you'd have the factory resonator and then straight back from there?
problem is if you don't like it, you have no factory system. i'd order a Magnaflow muffler and do no resonator on that and have him built it around that.

Ohh...
Are you going to imagine to get the GIAC or to BHR?
I get the clutch in next weekend, I'm going to go break it in as fast as I can and then I'm going to get the GIAC 91 and 100 programs installed.
