sway bar bushing repair/upgrade
Read a few posts about the bushings on the TT causing squeeks, as well as the TSB.
Silly question, would a 01 225 roadster have the 20mm bar, or could there be different sizes. (ie do I have to go out and measure the bar or is it a 20mm)
Our tt squeeks pretty bad.
I figure I would replace the swaybar bushings first, then possibly the strut top bushing at some point as well. Not sure which it is the offending bushing (if it is either). After seeing the dogleg bushing looking like, well, dog poo consistancy.. I figure the rest can't be that far behind!
But is the swaybar bush 20mm or do I have to get out there and measure it?

Its not the bushing itself that need replacing
Its the plastic jacket under the rubber sway bar bushing that cracks and causes the squeaks. I think all the bars are the same diameter (coupe or roadster). Either you get a newer OEM sway bar (which does not have that plastic sleeve anymore) or remove the plastic sleeve from your bar and replace your bushing with aftermarket polyurethane ones.

best way would be to physically check the diamter of the bar>>
