Taking to Plunge
Taking delivery of a 2001 6sp Quattro coupe, demin blue in Columbus OH on Tues. Has an Audi certified warranty good until Oct of 2007, all records, passed pre-purchase inspection with only very minor issues. Always been a Porsche guy but Boxster didn't fit my needs and Cayanne too expensive. TT coupe allows luggage and golf clubs, perfect fit. So now I begin the journey of mods. Probably start out slow and build from there. Appreciate your help-suggestions. PS. I live in KC area. Thanks

Wheels, suspension, brakes, then power. And don't forget ModShack!
- lighter wheels means better compliance
- 19mm rear sway is the de rigeur first suspension mod, then The Usual Suspects for struts/shocks
- BBK if you absolutely are going to go high power, but good pads (Mintex, HPS) as a minimum
- APR, GIAC, Upsolute, MTM coupled w/ Blue Flame or Borla exhaust, ot other aftermarket cat-back
Modshack: dynamic intake, boost machine, the whole sheebang!

Great color, Congrats!...>>
Lots of Mod opportunities that will get you serious gains. I'm an X and current Porsche guy too, but nothing responds to mods like the 1.8T. Hit my link below for just a few...
