Temp Problems>>
ok car is a 2001 180hp ATC motor...timing belt, water pump, and thermo was done about 15,000 miles. Green temp sensor was replaced about 1yr ago.
Car seems not to want to heat up all the time. Heats up to 1 tick during reg driving. Heater blows warm air not hot. Temp was checked thru the AC controls = 77.
Now this morning driving into work was doing about 70mph then hit stop and go traffic. Car decides to heat up to reg temps per the needle. Heat was warmer, but when start moving back up to normal driving speed the temps slowly go back to 1 tick not in the middle.
I am starting to believe that there is a air bubble in the system or bad thermostat. I have tried to burp the system a couple times but still have the same problems.
Could a thermostat work then not work? Open sometimes and close sometimes?
