temp sensor

so i Vagcommed my car, and to my expectations, the temp sensor is off and on (enough to throw something through the vag com). So i went down to john holtz audi and they wanted 39 DOLLARS FOR A NEW TEMP SENSOR!! wtffff mate! is it any cheaper at a VW dealer/can i use a VW part? anybody know the numbers? TIA people.

Yeah, it's insane how much the price went up. ECS has it for $22. Used to be $6.

Kinda like stocks....Hold on long enough and the value is bound to rise (hopefully!)

Unreal how expensive they've gotten.

I need to make an uber-order to ECS or somewhere and stock up on temp sensors, O2 sensors and MAFs. I already have a spare engine speed sensor.
