Thoughts on this setup?
Eibach springs - $239.99
Koni Shocks - $525.99
(are the Bilsteins for $689.99 worth the extra cash?)
K-MAC rear camber kit - $279.99
Just a few questions:
1) Should I look into a rear sway/strut bar?
2) Is there a better price available elsewhere on this stuff? Or is there a comparable setup from a different manufacturer that's cheaper?
I appreciate the help guys, this will be the first phase of modding the TT will undergo!
As for your questions the and upgraded bar can be worth the money but remember, once you start fooling around back there you might want to look into new bushings and a larger bar up front. More money, of course.
Check shox.com for prices. They carry the springs and shocks you're interested in as well as that there KMAC.
As far as cheaper is concerned, you can pretty much always find cheap. It tends to be less good.

In the end the Koni/Bilstein argument is pretty much one of personal taste and duty cycle.
If your gonna track you car, there is a strong case for going with the Konis and cranking 'em way up firm when you are lapping and than readjusting them for the street. But if you're not regularly taking your car to the track, the ability to adjust the rebound characteristics of Konis up and down to your heat's cocntent is really an ethereal benefit.
It's interesting to note that the service life of a hard-driven Bilsteins is usually longer than that of Konis on the same car (<i>Auto Motor und Sport</i> article back in the Spring or Summer of 2000, if memory serves). Which <i>may</i> explain the longer warranty on the Dutch shock absorbers.
