Default torque steer

Does anyone get torque steer( pull to left ) when accelerating hard , either going straight or when coming out of a turn? If I start off slow and then accel fast I get a pull on the steering wheel as the turbo's start to pull. I am not happy with this and the dealer tells me this is normal. Please let me know if you have the same experience.
Thanks
henrytt

Default Virtually none for me. Check tire pressure first.

First step is to check tire pressure to insure that both sides of the car have identical pressure. A few pounds difference could cause this effect.

Default I have this too....

225QC - its fine at highway speeds or cruising, but when accelerating hard, it pulls noticably to the left as you said. I've checked the tire pressure - both the fronts are the same. I thought quattro was supposed to eliminate this effect reminiscent of my old Golf GTI. Maybe someone can drive it at Asheville and confirm that I'm not imagining it!!!

Default I have tremendous torque steer in my 225TTQc running 235/35/19s but......

None when I was running stock rims and tires. are you running stock sizes? An APR guy told me [ at the BBQ ] that my larger rims where causing it.

Default None here........

I have a 180 Quattro. I have torque steer on my front wheel drive van, but on the TT there is none. I was under the impression that Quattro sort of eliminated this problem. Never have driven a 180 front wheel drive TT, but I would think torque steer would be present. Agree that the more power you have the more this would show up on either. As mentioned, tire pressure might have some effect or possibly alignment.
