Default TTDA Question

Steve, Why do you use a 2 tube system??? As a simple ,athematical fact, you are decreasing your surface area, and thereby your volume of air going in. Have you tried using a single tube system????

Just a question. I lnow I am new, and I am just trying to figure a few things out. And please don't think I am disputting your knowledge of cars, because I know jack...... haha. It's just the mechanical engineer in me!

Default Correct me if I'm wrong...

but I think he went with the twin tube design because it would be easier to run two smaller tubes down to the front of the car. Don't think there's enough space to route a single large tube.

Default I believe you are correct. No space for a single "tube". Besides... the TTDA is double the size...

of the stock intake.

That makes sense. But what does the BMC CDA run? Two tubes or one?

Default TTDA vs. CDA

Has anyone tried comparing it to a BMC? I am not a proponent of either. Just trying to make an educated decision on which one to buy.
