Turbo surging at high rpm
Hi everyone, i just bought a 2000 tt with 200,000 kms on it and the check engine light is on and the turbo is surging under load. it doesnt do it in first gear. its only when it is held to the floor for extended time like merging onto the hiway in 3rd. if i rev it out to 6000. it will not surge below 4500rpm only when its over that. im not sure if its a major issue or not. new to the turbo world. loving it so far but starting to get a little nervous that i got ripped off on the car. i have a couple other issues but this is the biggest on so far that i cannot figure out. thanks for any help you can offer.
