Default This weekends workflow>>

Wednesday & today (thursday) I completed the project of putting a set of tien coilovers and ebiach sways in a 04' civic si hatch. That was pretty fun.

Over this weekend were dropping a motor from an RSX type S, I have shown pictures of the other work I have done to this car before... This is do or die week on the turbo project. We have an extra built block already that we plan to bolt his head to and a GT30 based turbo kit he is having shipped to the house. He also has a "stage 4" clutch that was recomdned by the turbo kit and a lightweight flywheel to put in. He is already running a slipping "stage 2" clutch that only gave him 30k of life! and he has a stock rsx-s minus intake and lots suspension work. He is nothing but nice to the car and they are all commutter miles since his job commute is from Suffolk county to queens everyday and back. Kind of the short end of the stick if you ask me, but it's a 3-puck clutch disk so it has less surface area and it's more prone to failure i guess?

who knows.
however if anyone wants to join in the fun at all this weekend shoot me an email. I'm located in Huntington and we will be gettin dirty in the garage all weekend...

alls' is welcome!

ps. also putting in a new south power gasket in my TT : ) and checking for air leaks, replacing intake air temp sensor and fixing my inner drivers CV boot for the 3rd time! YAY! besides that this weekend will be filled with bars, beers, and lots of the old VW guys back from school!

Default sounds like fun! but do yourself a favor... skip the Power Gasket

go with an EVO shield instead... Power Gaskets deform over time, the resulting vacuum/boost leaks cause driveability problems that are
difficult to diagnose

Default sometimes saving 40$ or 50$ is not worth it in the end>>>

my feeling is if it's a known problem and there is a known quality solution, i am gonna go with the better quality. Ideally you want to do this once....so if it were me, yeah i would cancel your order with ECS
