Default Win a TT

For all of you that are waiting or just watching, I thought I'd pass along news of a sweepstakes where you can win a TT. Back in April, a friend asked my advice on a sweeps she was running. I strongly recommended offering the TT as the prize. She reserved one through Royal Motors in SF and the sweeps has been a great success. There's still plenty of time to enter to win an amulet red 180FWD TT. Just go to www.thirdage.com. All they want is your email.
PS This is not an ad. I've entered the above sweeps myself. I'm not helping my odds of winning by telling everyone, but I know the pain of waiting. I'm on the waiting list for a 225Q myself. (My dealer, by the way, hinted that the 225 was closer than everyone's saying. By my recollection, both the 180FWD cars and the Quattro are coming in ahead of when everyone thought they would. I can only hope.)

Default Re: Win a TT

In England, the waiting list is about 18 months. All TT's are quattros. The 225bhp is taking longer to arrive than the 180bhp. I am expecting delivery of my silver 225bhp in about 6 weeks. I have had my name down for nearly 2 years!!
The latest news is that Audi will be producing a V6 TT next year, developing 300bhp. It will be designated the 'TT-S' and will come with 18 inch alloys as standard. From my experience of driving the 180bhp TT, which is beautifully smooth and responsive (and pretty quick), the 300bhp should really blow your socks off. It is designed to compete with the new Boxster 'S' and the 300bhp V6 SLK.

Default Hmmm..

I'm not so sure about this one. I've been to Royal Motors several times, and have communicated with their salespeople on a regular basis. They have NO 180/TT's anywhere. In fact, their next cars coming in will all be quattro.
-KV
