Window problem help!!!

My TTR is in for service and I'm trying to get them to stop the windows from having a mind of their own.

The service tech says that the Audi Tech Line does NOT have any information on this problem.

Any information I can share with my service guy would be helpful. I know that the information is search-able. I already tried that and wasn't too successful (remember, searching requires chosing the right words to search on).

Thanks. I appreciate it. I really want to get this specific problem fixed as soon as possible and would like to get my car from them this weekend.

Also, anyone have problems getting the rear windscreen to go down/up on their roadster? Anyone have that fixed yet?

Not fixed yet

but supposedly my pass side window potentiameter (sp??) is hosed which is why the window goes up/down/up/down 3 times before I can close it...

Similar Issue?

My windows have been pretty stable, until about a week ago. Driver's side went down as commanded but then would not go up. Remained stuck for about 20 minutes, then returned. However, the "special" functions on that window are now gone. No one touch up and down, no "dip" when the door is open and no auto reverse. Dealer says it could be the window motor controller but is more likely the programming in the window controller. Says the programming sometimes gets "lost" and the controller has to get reprogrammed. Goes in on the 11th to be checked out.
