Would a Tint job decrease the value of my TT ?

Default Would a Tint job decrease the value of my TT ?
I am thinking about getting a TINT job for my black TT, but a friend of mine said that would decrease the value of the car since it is a modification. Any comments anyone ? thanks !!!

I think it would decrease the car value, for <br>several reasons.<p>1. The tint WILL degrade over time.<br>2. It may not be legal in some states (side windows or degree of tint).<br>3. A mess to remove after purchase.<br>4. The car is dark enough already! <br> <br>IMHO

No-the shop will replace any worn tint for the lifetime of the car. Besides-if you want to remove it before you sell, they'll do so for a small fee.(NT)

Who dreams up these things. The new meatlized window tinting films will last probably as long as my TT. And as far as removal--done in 20 minutes without mess. I Know this because I had a vehicle redone that someone had put cheap film on and it turned purple after 2 years. <br>I have also experienced no degredation in radio signal performance since the tint !!!

Default Get dyeless tint, ie, metallic tint. Have it on my A4, love it, lost a bit of AM, but Valentine V1 works like a champ still (NT)

If you live in Houston, window tint can only increase the value of your TT.
