Bad loud whistle noise

With mine everything was fine until I reached about 55MPH.
Then I would hear the wind noise which sounded just like if you left the drivers window open just by a couple of mil's.
It was driving me mad and it took all the enjoyment out of driving the car because I was all the time listening for the sound,where was it coming from?
Then I read Barryodoc's wind noise thread and I realised he had the exact problem as me.
Barry was very helpfull to me regarding the wind noise issue and so I told my dealer about Barry's problem and how it was fixed.
I then asked them to do the same on mine.
It worked a treat.
Now no more wind noise
It turns out that one of the rivetts along the bottom of the rear window,under the rubber trim was not covered with silicone/sealant.And this was causing the noise.
You say you hear sounds only when its raining?
Thats weird.
Do you not notice any wind noise at around 55-65MPH coming from behind your head area?
For me it was very hard to trace excatley where it was coming from.I first thought the door needed to be adjusted but it didn't.
I hope this throws some light on the issue for you because I know how annoying it can be.
