He couldn't confirm if manual will be offered. Sounds like it may be DSG only.

Default No manual, DSG only. 200hp (though Audi under rates the engine)

Look at page 16.<ul><li><a href="http://www.stantoneagles.com/me/2009.pdf">2009 Audi U.S. Order Guide</a></li></ul>

The $25k 2009 VW GTI 2.0 will have 230HP. Why spend $45k only to be smoked by a GTI?

Default Mk2 TT is a low volume car.

Like I previously said in another post, if Audi North America sold as many TT's in the U.S. as the U.K.... we would have the manual here. It comes down to cost of getting the cars certified vs. the amount of cars sold. America's love affair with the TT is long gone... The A5/S5 will replace that niche for the US. Dealers are sold out of those and have a queue that's a year out!

Default Uhhh... nothing new... The R32 has a 3.2 AWD and is $33k

It's cheaper with more performance than a base TT.
BTW... I would be too sure that the GTI will smoke the TT. The 2.0T is way underrated in hp.

Hmm... maybe it's a local thing as my dealers around here are sold out, but I'm in the PNW.

Default from everything I have read and heard.....

the TT is already at 211 hp stock. Audi under rates their engines, so the question will be is.... how much heavier will it be with the quattro parts on and will that keeps the times between the two about the same.
