Odd Problem
Hey Guys,
I took out our TT 3.2 S-Tronic today and I was pulling out of our neighborhood and it was maybe halfway warmed up. I proceed to give it a little gas to get up to 45 MPH and as I am accelerating the Check Engine light starts flashing and the tranny (which was in D) starts shifting very abruptly. I quickly pulled into the next neighborhood upon which the tranny shifted into second with a neck snapping jerk, the check engine light had turned off and I pulled over and turned off the engine and sat for a minute and then I started again and it was okay. I can't understand why it did that?!?! I am going to take it to the dealer this monday to check for codes.

Wonder if it's like the surge issue I had on my 3.2 a couple of months ago. Happened twice - it was like a bucking bronco on acceleration from any gear. CEL never went on and car didn't stall out. It was thoroughly road tested, found to be fine, and the problem never recurred again. Thought it may have been some debris in the fuel or blocked fuel injector, but never found out the answer. For now, mine's fine.
