Engine start system: malfunction! SOLVED

Walking up to my car the keyless entry and trunk buttons were not responding. Upon starting my car I was greeted with Engine Start system: malfunction Please contact service. I looked it up online and everyone said it was push to start button or the battery, I replaced the battery and $350 later still not solved. I looked under the car and saw a connector with nothing connected to it with a huge hole in my splash guard. The keyless entry antenna module was completely ripped off. When having problems with Audi it's usually not what you expect to be causing the gremlin. Replaced the Keyless entry antenna from a local VW parts department and were back with no lights on the dash.

I've been stuck with this error for a while with no fix i also ended up replacing battery which should have been replaced anyway. Where exactly underneath the car was this located?

for my TT it was under the driver seat almost under the car behind

I have a 2017 TTS so i'm gonna look in the same area, so just to be clear under the car but almost where the driver seat is located?
