So, what are you early birds assigning to the steering wheel button (#3 shown)?

I started with day/night map colour so I could force maps to dark if the map became distracting, but now I am using it for Drive Select.

What are the options? Sounds like it can be almost any setting?

Only 4 options: Drive Select Mode, Voice Guidance On or Off, Map Day or Night, Switch to Radio or Media.

Given those choices I expect "Voice Guidance On/Off" would be my choice. Drive Select and Media already have physical buttons.
I will update you guys in about eight months

In 8 min months, let's hope we Canadians get proper connection services. The TT has a SIM card slot, but we cannot even tether tie car to a smartphone. You can tether a smartphone to the car, but it doesn't do anything.
