Default A6 B4 17 Instrument Cluster

Hi There -
On my 2004 (A6 B4) Allroad I am looking to stop the seat belt warning. My current coding is 20264. There has been a lot discussion about this topic but I have not found a code that will work like 18264 except 00264. 00264 will be accepted and the seat belt warning stops, however will this reduce other functionality for other systems such as navigation?

I have an RNS-e I am not sure if this will be affected or not.

So what is the appropriate code to only turn off the seat belt warning?

Thanks Jason

What was the stock coding?

Do you have an Auto-Scan handy so we can see exactly what cluster and other stuff is installed in your car?

I'm confused. 20264 doesn't have the seat belt warning active to begin with. 20 in the first two positions means:

+04 = Tires for Allroad (MY 2002+)
+16 = Navigation System (w/o CAN Connection)
====
20 = Sum of options

There's no other way to get to 20.

Default Well that is the stock setting...

unless some else changed in my car. I have searched the form for20264 and you get plenty of results of people asking this same questions...moreover my car did not come with navigation, I added an RNS-e unit but I did not change this setting. Originally in the US this car had a nav option but it was not a RNS type unit so I have no clue why it is set to 20 but I do know the car chimes when the seat belt is not in place. I also know that if I set 00264 it turns off the chime but I am not sure what else is turned off. I probably will try 04264 but I don't know what the tires setting means, and I still don't know why nav was turned on...I would have thought the original setting would have been 06264 or 22264 for my car...
