2004.5 A4 B6 1.8tq 6spd USB dongle from Ross Tech
ABS light on dash won't go out. ESP light comes and goes.

I plug in VAG COm and go to ABS section channel 3 and it says system test activiated, does not give me the option to "go", and every once in a while it flash up a number where "activated" was and then goes back to saying "activated". But no matter how long I sit, it never is done.
Thoughts? What more do you need to help determine? TIA

 

After waiting it out, the "go" button finaly activates. The ABS light on dash still does not go out. Now I get fault codes:

I have not done any ABS coding at all. All I've done was go to channel 3 and the system test is already going, it doesn't give me the option to "Go"

I reconnected battery after stereo install and went for ride. ESP and ABS lights come on and go off intermittently. Note that this car drove last night and this morning with no ABS/ESP lights on dash until after I used VAG COM this morning. Now it's all messed up.

I cleared codes, drove around, the lights went out while driving. Have stayed out since. ESP functions as normal (switch turns off ESP and light comes on). ABS works fine on road test. Multiple starts and no dash lights; no fault codes.
Hate to say it fixed itself, but.....
