ECM Problem K-Line Code
Hi,
I've got a headscratcher.
1) Audi 2005 Allroad, 6 cyl
2)Car was running fine but replaced the turbo
3) Car would not start after the repair, and scan tool could not communicate with ECM
4) Put another ECM from an Allroad and everything powered up properly (fuel pump etc) and scan tool could communicate properly
5) Sent ECM out to repair facility and they said the ECM was functioning properly
6) Sent ECM to another repair facility and they said there was corrupted software (which he fixed) and then said the ECM worked and tested properly
7) Put repaired ECM back in and got (K-Line Failure)
8) Other ECM powers and communicates
Any thoughts? At wit's end here.
