Can anybody shed any light on the following fault codes I am experiencing in my C6/4F A6 Avant (3.2 quattro)?

These are the only two fault codes shown when doing a full scan, and both appear to relate to either a coding or adaptation channel issue.

There doesn't appear to be any coding helpers or adaptation channels mapped for this particular controller so I am at a loss as to deciphering the coding.

Hi!

I have the same fault code on my '06 A6. I have noticed that when I press the memory key to let the seat move to my stored place, the seatback won't move.
Can anyone help with this problem?

 

I know this is old but did you determine the solution?

 

No I did not.

 

Try performing Basic Settings with VCDS to recalibrate the system/sensors.

If it still fails, replace G230 and perform function 04 again.

 

I don't know how but in my case, it worked out itself. No DTC anymore

 

Thanks for the suggestion jakematic - have tried this but my module doesn't seem capable of basic settings?
