no response from controller HELP!!!

Hi folks,

Justt recieved my genuine HEX-CAN cable and tried it out on my mums brand new Audi Q5.

I hooked it up and done a full scan. Everything was except 1 fault (throttle position or something). Anyway, the reason I bought the cable is because I was wanting to enable the "secret green menu" on the MMI unit (3G), to enable the bluetooth telephone feature (as it just says "telephone not installed" at the moment. I read up about how to enable it and it says to do the following:

go to 5F-information electr. click on Adaptation-10, channel 6, and change the 0 to 1

So, I found 5F-information electr and clicked on it. but then it just says "no response from controller" I tried clicking on other options and they seem to work fine?!?! It seems like clicking on some options work fine but clicking on other options comes back with the "no response from controller" error?!?!?!

Anyone got any ideas how to solve this??? Its really doing my head in!!!!

Is this the correct way to enable the "secret green menu"???

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm guessing you're English...

.. my advice? Don't F*** with mum's car. Secondly, my TPMS controller does the same thing on my '05 A8. Everything has been checked and is connected, I've been advised the controller is faulty. Good luck old boy.
