When the car (audi A6 tdi) is idle the rpm seems too low, is it possible to increase it using vag com or any other software?

"Audi A6 TDI" could be a number of different engined and model years from the mid 1990's to current. Wanna narrow this down a little?

The engine vibrates when it is worm because rpm is too low.

 

You mentioned it was sitting for a while. Have you replaced the air and fuel filters recently? One other note, has the intake manifold been checked for excessive carbon / restriction?

To answer the idle question...look in Adaptation, Channel 2: Idle Speed. See if this applies to your Ecm. I would only do that if the other maintenance type items mentioned above appear to be fine or were already replaced.

 

What does Ecm stand for?

 

ECM = Engine Control Module.
