Am I correct to think I need to replace the sensor unit on my drivers side lower control arm? Or is there some other direction I should go? Any insight is appreciated!

I have got the same code,

 

Slow response but I had this on both my rear left and right side on my old B8.5 a few years back. If you jack it up and and potentially take the tire off you will see the sensor. In both my cases the plastic had snapped and it was just hanging. After replacing it all was good. They aren't cheap though.
