Default Updated/additional lable files and general help?

Are there updated/additioanl label files for VAG-Com? Not got any specific ones missing I can remember, but many items don't look to have lable files for my car - so I'm not sure what I am looking at somtimes :-)

It's a UK B5 2.4SE, the first scan I did is all I have to hand...but think that gives the details of the modules I have, so are there label files for all of these - any other info you need?

Also, should I be able to get into address 25, the imobiliser?? And confused about the readiness status under engine - should I get a passed in all areas - I thought if you did not have monitoring on one area, it got passed automatically, but I have 2 that never seem to pass - but can't remember which two !!

Default Here's how you tell yourself:

Options -> Debug Level = 1 -> Apply.

Then run another Auto-Scan. Now VAG-COM will show you the name of the label file it can find for each module in your car.

No, you should not be able to get Address 25. "Bitte Adresse 17 eingeben" is German for "Please use address 17". That's because your Immoboilizer is integrated in your instrument cluster.

In the scan you posted, all your Readiness bits read "Pass".

Thanks, the scan was a few weeks back now...recently had a problem with the idle bouncing about and stalling after short periods of stopping - eg from a warm engine after filling at gas station... and the scan I ran yesterday had all the readiness bits bar 1 as failed....

I'll have a look with the debug option...

Default Based on what I see...

+ means covered by a label file
- means not covered by a label file

- Address 01: Engine (3B0 907 552)
+ Address 02: Auto Trans (8D0 927 156 DG)
- Address 03: ABS Brakes (3B0 614 111)
- Address 08: Auto HVAC (8D0 820 043 Q)
+ Address 15: Airbags (8D0 959 655 J)
- Address 17: Instruments (8D0 920 980 K)
+ Address 35: Centr. Locks (8D0 862 257 E)
+ Address 45: Inter. Monitor (4B0 951 173)
- Address 56: Radio (8D0 035 195)

So after all not a satisfying result for us. Please contact me directly via email, we should be able to fill the gaps with a bit of your help.

The #25 says "Bitte Adresse 17 eingeben", that's German for "Please Enter Address 17" and tells you that the immobilizer is part of the instrument cluster.
