Windows up/down with remote

How does it work? I changed the code to allow for that, but I'm having problems making it work.

Press the unlock once = unlock
Press again + hold = windows down?

Push and hold unlock for a couple of seconds and it should lower windows. Takes about 2 seconds of continuous pressure on unlock button before they will go down.

you don't have to push twice then? Just push and hold?

Yup

Pushing twice just unlocks all the doors. If you just push once and hold it will only unlock the driver's door.

One difference I noticed on my friend's 01 AR vs my 03 A4 is that doors must all be closed

Mine is pretty erratic.... sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't

and I find some security or alarm fault code on that module.... don't remember exactly what it was - I didn't think it was related at the time....

I'm gonna check it again to see if it's back on....
