2011 Audi Q5 2.0T Premium Plus - $16,000 - Harrisburg, PA
Hello, I am listing my Q5 for sale. My wife and I purchased this vehicle from Sun Motor Cars Audi in Mechanicsburg, PA in early 2015, we are the second owners. Garage kept!
I have all service records during our ownership. 75K service was just performed by myself in late 2016: new OEM-spec NGK sparkplugs, and Liqui-Moly Leichtlauf 5W-40 full synthetic oil with a Mann oil filter. Engine air filter is new as well, and I put in a brand new cabin air filter a few months ago. Tire pressures are checked regularly - the car has P235/55-R19 Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires in good condition. One is newer, purchased September 2015 to replace one that got a nail in it.
The Q5 has the Premium Plus package and is loaded! Navigation, backup camera, proximity sensors, SiriusXM, HIDs, foglights, heated seats, dual climate control, Bang & Olufsen stereo system, hill descent control, remote keyless entry/cargo hatch lift and a panoramic moonroof. The 2.0T engine runs on premium fuel, which has always been used with no exceptions. I have both sets of keys as well.
Paint is in excellent condition. There is a fingertip-sized indentation on the driver's side door, one scuff on the rear bumper, and a scratch on the outer edge of the left side mirror. Interior is also excellent, no tears in the leather or surfaces, just a couple of small wear marks. We are car people and keep it clean. NON-SMOKERS. The Q5 comes with both carpeted (which we don't use) and OEM rubber floormats, as well as a rubber cargo mat. Interior surfaces and leather are regularly cleaned/conditioned. OEM spare tire kit is present and has not been used.
It is equipped with roofrack rails and crossbars, we do not use the bars so they are not installed. However they will go with the car.
No active CEL/engine lights.
No warranty, CPO expired January 2017.
NOTES:
- Formerly we did have issues with oil burn, the car was consuming a quart or more of oil every thousand miles or so. We had consumption tests done in two phases, at different times. After phase two, Audi approved a piston & ring replacement under CPO warranty. Completed 11/10/15. **No oil issues since!**
- I saw on the notes from the above repair that 4 teeth were missing on the cam tensioner ("old style") however they did not fix it. I insisted that they take the car back and conduct the replacement at their labor cost, I paid for parts. New timing chain, chain guides & tensioner replaced 11/27/15.
- This car is on the list for the airbag recall (Audi notice 69N1), and is due for replacement in May 2017 per an email with the Audi dealership today 2/28/17. The car is in "lot number P6" in the timeline.
REASON FOR SALE:
This is my wife's car and she is utterly in love with it. She's never owned a car she loves this much, however we would prefer to have something with a warranty at this time.
I am going to be firm on the price; I have no intention on trading it in for a pittance, nor to sell it to someone who won't care for it. I'm 40, have been a car enthusiast my whole life, and an online forum member (including AudiWorld) since the mid- to late '90s. This is a driven car, not a showcar - so it's not perfect, but it's awfully nice. My wife's commute is four miles each way, plus some local running around and we've taken a few long road trips. Bought the car with 57,256 mi. in January 2015.
I have ALL receipts and maintenance records since we purchased in January 2015. PA inspection/emissions stickers good through January 2018.
Asking $16,000/obo. as of May 3, 2017. I am flexible but will not accept lowballs!
