What to do about gouges in alloy wheels?

Default What to do about gouges in alloy wheels?
I noticed that I've got a couple of pretty ugly cuts or gouges in the alloy on my A4 stock sport package 7 spokes. I don't think there's much I can do about getting rid of the damage, but should I be worried about rust or other stress on the alloy? Any protectant I should use?<p>kl

You can get them repaired and refinished for about $125
