Audi's 2020 Model Year A5 Coupe is Superbly Stylish

Making pretty, even prettier

Audi has applied a slight update to its second-generation A5 to keep salse of the handsome coupe going strong. One of the most stylish German 2-doors you can buy, the 2020 model year A5 update adds a treasure of small details to an already established design.  

A bold face

Viewed from front-on, there are a lot of changes to behold in the update. Audi has added the brand's latest single-frame grille to the A5. Above that, the hood features a horizontal aero slot to channel air to the engine. The new A5 also gains the option of matrix LED headlights. All told, these upgrades enhance the A5 coupe's presence.

Lights add to the rear aesthetic

Around the rear, Audi's updated 2020 model year A5 coupe now features standard fitment LED taillights. That means that you get dynamic light sequencing, which functions with the turn-signaling and will leave you feeling like you've put on a show for any motorists behind you.

Showing that green can be elegant

If you are taken by the new A5's green hue, then yes: it is indeed a debut color. Audi's launch color for new A5 coupe is this intriguing shade, which the brand classifies as 'District Metallic Green.' It appears to work particularly well with the A5 coupe's proportions.

Drives like a proper large coupe

As you would expect from a large Audi, the A5 coupe is driven by all four wheels. Audi has been perfecting its quattro traction system since the 1980s and it works a treat. The quattro system adapts to your driving style, adding traction when you need it (during rain or snow), without stunting your cornering experience in an A5 coupe, in the dry.

Two plus two

The A5 coupe only has two individual rear seats, but these are superbly comfortable. An advantage of the two-door body configuration is an increase in overall stiffness, due to the absence of a second set of doors and hinges. This added overall stiffness improves the A5 coupe's steering responsiveness.

Looks as good inside, as it does outside

The 2020 model year A5 coupe has a typically stylish cabin. It features quality materials and excellent build tolerances. The digital interfaces are intuitive and overall design, clean and cossetting. And yes, there is deep green mood lighting too.

Audi has always prided itself as a design-centric company. Engineering excellence is a given, but Audi presents a treasure trove of little design details which their customers will appreciate. And if you look just ahead of that rear wheel arch, you'll notice the presence of a small four-ringed logo.
