Happy to Spend Time Inside

Audi built a small electric car that passengers would be delighted to spend some time in. The AI:ME is about 170 inches long and 75 inches wide. It has a larger interior than what you'd find in a normal car of its size. The vehicle manufacturer started building from the inside, and let the entire vehicle derive its shape from there.

Appealing to the Senses

Audi's mission is to create an atmosphere that appeals to the user's senses. The car is designed to be a safe haven in the busy and noisy city. The temperature, seat positioning, and ambient lighting are designed to keep you relaxed as you drive through traffic. There's a noise cancellation system that keeps outside noise to a minimum.

Audi claims that interior features will be controlled using eye tracking, touch-sensitive fields, and voice input. As for the front seats, they will feature a living-room lounge setting to provide more comfort. Space offered can accommodate up to 4 passengers.

Plants

Audi plans to incorporate living plants into the roof of the AI:ME concept. According to the automaker, this will be the first time vegetation will be used in a car's interior. Climbing plants will cut across a see-through roof in order to improve air quality and bring an aspect of nature into the big city.

The Race

Audi is one of the few automotive manufacturers racing to come up with eco-friendly solutions for the automotive industry. The AI:ME will use a lot of strategies derived from artificial intelligence and machine learning. Other companies that have already showcased similar mobility solutions include Citroen, Seat, and Aston Martin.
