Seattle Silvercar

If you're flying into a large city for business or pleasure, and miss your Audi, you're in luck: Silvercar has Audis for rent in spanning 25 locations.  Guests will be offered fully loaded, A5 Cabriolet, Q5 and now the Q7 at select locations.  The experience with this high tech app-based rental company is unlike anything you've ever experienced. Silvercar is also in New York, Low Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, and many more cities

Silvercar App

Once you create an account on the Silvercar app, providing them with all of your payment information, driver license, insurance, and some basic other information, renting a Q7 is easy. With your smartphone, you can walk into the parking lot, scan the QR code on whatever Audi appeals to you, press approve on your rental agreement, and take the car and leave. You won't have to stand in line, you won't have to sign tons of paperwork, and you won't have to talk to anyone unless you just choose to.

Seattle for example

If you reserve a car in the app, upon arrival at the airport, a concierge will pick you up and drive you to the nearby Jiffy Airport Parking lot where the company fleet is located. Once you arrive at the Silvercar location, you won't have to worry about lines, paperwork, or anything. Instead, you can use the Silvercar smartphone application to take care of the entire transaction from start to finish.

Why Silvercar?

Some may debate if it is worth paying over $50 per day for a car, but an Audi Q7 is far above most rental chain offerings. Each Audi comes with WiFi, satellite radio, and GPS navigation, and roof racks. You simply need to sit in the car, link your smartphone, and melt into the award-winning interior of the most luxurious brand on the market. Thanks to heated seats, automatic wipers and lights, and backup camera on all of the A4s that are being rented, driving these cars is a joy.

The Return

Returning the car is even easier than picking it up - if that's possible. You simply drive back to the lot, which is saved in all of the rental Audi model's navigation systems, and a concierge scans your car when you arrive. Just be sure to fill your gas tank before you return the car, or you will pay more than the going rate as a penalty. The rest is history.

Cost

Silvercar was bought out by Audi, and now instead of renting a car you hate driving, you can drive a brand new Audi in any of their 25 markets. It is not as cheap as renting an economy car from Thrifty, but all things considered, it isn't expensive either. You can rent an Audi for $59 per day, plus $27 for fees and taxes, and an additional fee for insurance if you need it. Silvercar has received high marks for customer service by winning the "World Travel Award" as North America's best rental car service in 2015 and the "Magellan Travel Award" for the best mobile app for business travelers in 2017.
