Slideshow: How the New Q3 Tops the First Generation
Audi has finally revealed the all-new 2019 Q3. Here's a quick overview of how the new model improves upon the outgoing crossover.
Second Gen
The 2019 iteration of Audi's small crossover is a revamp for the segment that is sure to garner plenty of interest and a whole host of new buyers for the brand. And as successful as the first generation of the Q3 was, the new model is designed to be even better in just about every way imaginable.
The New Look
Audi has been settling into their new design philosophy and the new Q3 establishes their new DNA even more. The new crossover has sharper, more muscular, more youthful, and more sporty styling than the current version. It carries a lot of the same styling cues from its big brother, the Q8, both in overall proportions and detail design. The ever-present signature Audi styling lines are prominent in the new Q3 from every angle.

Exterior Details
LED headlights are now standard. The Q3 will also have Matrix LED headlamps available. Other exterior options include split color lower-body section, and the S line package will give you an even sportier look all around.

Interior Design
On the inside, and especially the UI/UX, is where we see the most significant update from the previous generation of the Q3. The new model comes with a fully digital instrument panel using Audi's virtual cockpit. In the interior styling department, what's really cool is the visual incorporation of the signature Audi grill shape into the dashboard, encompassing the digital display area.

3 Trim Levels
You will be able to pick from one of three interior equipment trim levels. The basic version which comes with standard equipment and upholstery, as well as the design selection level, and the S line package. The last two will come with optional leather or Alcantara upholstery and interior trim panels.

Engine Options
Audi has announced four different available engine options for this model. The range of gasoline-powered engines will include 4-cylinder turbocharged motors that, depending on the trim, produce between 150 HP to 230 HP. The base version is a 1.5-liter and the rest are 2.0-liter engines. A diesel powerplant will also be offered for specific markets.

Suspension Options
Three words: Audi drive select. Audi's new highly capable suspension system will be offered on the Q3 as an option, providing the driver with 6 different driving modes. In addition, the optional sport suspension provides an even sportier handling feel from the start.

Safety
Another area in which all new Audis, including the Q3, have seen significant technological advances, is the safety department. With the adaptive cruise assist, you will be able to engage level-3 autonomy, allowing the car to drive itself on the freeway.

More Cabin Space
The new Q3 will be slightly larger than the first one in exterior dimensions, which also translates to more space on the inside. There will be more legroom, more elbow room, and more headroom for all five passengers...
