More presence for Audi's RS5 Sportback

If you have a family but don't wish to sacrifice owning a performance car, Audi's RS5 Sportback has always been a great solution. The 2021 model year update takes Audi's sloping roofline performance car and adds some styling presence. The RS5 Sportback now features a large single-frame grille, with hexagonal pattern mesh. The headlights can now also be ordered with laser-light technology, which makes for much safer high-beam driving at night.

Shapelier rear and brighter wheel options

Viewed from the rear, the 2021 model year RS5 Sportback has a reshaped bumper, homing large diameter exhaust ends. Another tasteful styling option with the new RS5 Sportback, is its bronze color 20-inch alloy wheels, which contrast with an array of bodycolor paint finishes.

Many pixels keeping you informed

Audi has embraced digitization with its RS5 Sportback. High definition screens help convey information to the driver and passengers, whether it be vehicle functions or infotainment options. A central 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system is powered by Audi's MMI processing software, to better cope with the demands of modern media. The instrumentation binnacle is lit with Audi's 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit.

Seats to keep you comfy - even in fast corners

The RS5 has brilliantly supportive seats, shaped following proven ergonomic principles. Whether you are going a multi-State journey or threading corners on a track day, these seats will keep you both comfortable for hours on the road. They are also very secure, when cornering speeds increase, keeping occupants in place. An interesting detail of the new 2021 model year RS5 Sportback cabin, is the lack of a volume adjustment dial, with Audi having made the decision to completely digitize its infotainment functions.

Keeping all RS5 Sportback occupants happy

Superior seat comfort is not only limited to front occupants. A great deal of the RS5 Sportback's appeal is the way it can accommodate a family of four. Leg- and headroom are excellent and the quilted-padding seat design is guaranteed to keep you comfy on long journeys.

A very fast family car

Powering the RS5 Sportback is Audi 2.9-liter turbocharged V6 engine. It boasts 444hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. Those outputs are distributed to all four wheels, via an eight-speed automatic transmission. Performance numbers are deeply impressive, with the RS5 Sportback capable of a 174mph top speed. Helping to cool the V6 are those vent slots between the grille and hood, which both functional but also pay homage to Audi's original quattro sportscar.

Stops well - goes even better

Balancing the RS5 Sportback's potent engine performance, are equally powerful brakes. Audi customers will have the option of carbon-ceramic brakes, which provide virtually fade-free stopping power, with excellent thermal stability. Acceleration numbers are keen, too, with the RS5 Sportback capable of running 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds. Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system assists greatly in achieving that rapid acceleration number.

Wide stance and a capacious load area

The RS5 Sportback's trunk holds a lot of luggage in its rear storage area. A total of 35 cubic-feet can be loaded under the liftback-type tailgate, which makes it a very compelling family car, combining superb high-speed cruising ability with passenger and luggage carrying capability, too. With a 1.6-inch wider body compared to the standard A5 Sportback, the RS5 Sportback has all the required presence, whether parked or on the move.
