1. Impressive performance

While the Audi Q8 Sport concept doesn't necessarily come with an S or RS moniker, it does have impressive performance that would qualify it for one or the other. It combines Electrically Powered Compressor (EPC) technology with a six-cylinder TFSI and a mild hybrid system - a world first that enables it to deliver an exceptional 476PS output with the efficiency of a four-cylinder equivalent. And that’s not to mention its sporty new look.

2. Forced induction

According to official statements made by Audi, there’s a hybrid V6 displacing 3.0-liters with a forced induction system. Unfortunately, Audi still hasn't said anything about when a production Q8 will come to market.

3. Electrically-powered supercharger

The V6 uses an electrically-powered supercharger; this, as opposed to a conventional turbo or belt-driven supercharger. The exhaust tips are now large ovals that protrude from the rear bumper.

4. Decent amount of power

Per Audi, the total output of the engine and motor combination is 476-horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. Audi’s also done away with the regular Q8's chrome grill in favor of a black honeycomb piece. All of the fenders have been stretched by half an inch.

5. Certainly a lot of speed

According to early reports, the Q8 can hit 62 MPH in 4.7 seconds. That orange shell also has updates to show that this Q8 Sport is the fast one. Audi’s done away most of the brushed aluminum trim of the normal Q8 concept, and replaced it with gloss black versions instead.
