Top 7 Autocross Audis

1. Audi R8

The Audi R8 is extremely popular amongst performance enthusiasts. The R8 is known for having tremendous acceleration and power, as well as exceptional handling. Autocross courses require good acceleration to go from one obstacle to the next, as well as great handling, which allows you to maneuver effectively, making the R8 a blast on the autocross track.

2. Audi A4

This Audi A4 was used on the Autocross track to test the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires. The autocross course took place in the NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans, and Michelin prepared various courses and obstacles to test the tires on. The A4's steering responded slightly better and quicker with the Michelin tires on than it did with the Bridgestone.

3. Audi TT

The Audi TT is known for its quick responses and small structure, making it a good contender for autocross courses. Same say the TT is slightly heavy for autocross, but unless you are trying to do it professionally, you should have a fantastic time on the autocross track with a TT.

4. Audi S4

The older Audi S4s are quite popular on the autocross courses. Numerous people praise these Audis, and even though they may not handle as well as some other competitors, like the Lancer Evo, their power to the ground and low-end torque makes them accelerate perfectly throughout the course.

5. Audi A3

The little Audi A3 is much more impressive on the autocross than it may seem like. Some people claim it slightly understeers, but this can be fixed by adding an independent rear suspension setup. This is lighter than many other Audis, which makes it extremely fun for autocross courses.

6. Audi 90 Quattro

The Audi 90 Quattro does well on the autocross track despite its heavy weight. However, if you're looking to break records, you may want to stay away from this one. This is a car that you can drive to the autocross course, and end up having a great day.

7. Audi S4

This Audi S4 experienced its first Autocross in this photo. The driver described the experienced, and he emphasized the different feel with the S4, because it's an AWD. The AWD allows the car to hold on to the ground extremely well, which makes the Audi a great candidate for autocross, despite its heavy structure.
