Today marks the official opening of Audi Forum Madrid, in the Spanish capital. The new congress and customer centre on Calle Orense, at the heart of the bustling city centre, is already the eighth Audi Forum worldwide. The company will use the 1,600 square metres of exhibition and conference area to present itself and the brand, demonstrate innovative new products and special models, and stage events aimed at customers, dealers and journalists. The Forum will be a venue for touring exhibitions associated with Audi and will play host to conferences of all kinds, thanks to the high-tech facilities it offers.

To celebrate its opening, the Forum is holding a retrospective of the 100-year history of the four rings and their predecessor brands, on the subject “Vorsprung durch Technik”. This exhibition is an illustrative tour of the 20th century, encompassing those vehicles which revolutionised automotive history in their own specific way. The contrast between history and the modern reality of the new premises serves as an inspiring bridge between the past and the present.

As well as the various exhibitions, prospective customers can get to know the latest products from the Audi model range during the Forum’s opening hours of Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4.30 to 8 p.m.

The first Audi Forum was opened in New York in 1997, with other Forums following in Paris, Stockholm, Berlin, Munich and London. The inauguration of the Audi Forum at the company’s headquarters in Ingolstadt – a facility covering 77,000 square metres in a captivating architectural setting – at the end of 2000 enabled the brand with the four-ring badge to present the brand in a new light to customers, visitors and employees alike.

All Audi Forums have one thing in common: as meeting-places they are ambassadors of the Audi brand, rendering the brand core and brand values manifest to all who call by.
