Drove my Audi today and had a horrible grinding noise that sounds like it's coming from under the engine. Car runs and shifts smooth however this grinding noise is its worst 1st threw 3rd gears and seems to stop after that unless at a low rpm. Also while driving it home I seemed to have lost power and now it's sounds like a diesel when at idle.

If anyone knows what this could be I would greatly appreciate your help so I can fix the problem and get my wife off my back, lol.
