Alternator makes 14V but battery doesn't charge
Anybody know which wire provides the charge to the battery on a 99.5 AEB? Is it the thick one from the starter or the other thinner one?

You will be able to find the wiring diagram if you have one (should keep this for future problem at least). Thick one( usually RED) BAT to Alternator and thinner one is for charging lamp on Instrument panel. Be check the wiring diagram before doing this again. Good luck. x19
