My car is idling high (~1200 rpm)
So, my car is a 2000 1.8TSQ.
A couple of days ago, after driving a bit agressive, the car suddenly started to shake and run unstable when idle and lack a bit of power when giving full throttle. I later discovered that a vacuumhose (don't really know what it does) was loose and that seemed to be the cause of it. But now that I plugged that back in its place, the car is idling at ~1200ish rpm, and sometimes it gets really unstable going up and down around 1200 constantly.
Only thing I've tried is unplugging the MAF sensor, but then the engine would only start up to stop again.
Anyone got any ideas to what might cause it?
