Rough Shifting/Loss of Power

Rough Shifting/Loss of Power
96 Audi A4 Quattro 2.8L 5-speed Manual
Odometer 171k
This issue is intermittent, though more frequent in below freezing temps. It has occurred in various temperatures though. When I press the clutch pedal to the floor there is hard jerk as the transmission is taken out of gear, and a clunk when I switch to the next gear or just let off the clutch in neutral. When this is occurring, I often lose power when stopping after pressing the clutch pedal to the floor. Most of the time the car shifts smooth and I experience no loss of power. There is a mild rough idle, fluctuating between 800-1100 RPMs while parked. When it is colder the car idles between 600-900 RPMs. That's all I can think of as far as symptoms.
History of Repairs (That I am aware of):
New thermostat/radiator 160k
Timing belt/water pump 165k
Rear wheel bearings 170k
Oil change every 5k since 160k
