battery keeps dying fog lights dont work
hi im paul new to the forum here. I googled the **** out of google and cant find a straight answer or good location where to begin my search. so I bought a 2004 audi a4 1.8t Quattro recently upgraded from a 99 b5. so one day I figured out how to turn on my fog lights and started playing with them and all of a sudden it gave out a loud long beep and my headlights turned off. so I removed the headlight switch and my headlights worked again. I checked my bulbs for the fog lights and they were blown. I removed the headlight switch and had my boost gauge there and still it would kill by battery. I ran vagcom and in majority of the controls it gave me a short or no voltage error. I took off the ccm and checked it out there was no black marks or burned components. I tried looking for the fog light relay but my car don't have any and they are all from the b5 model. im going to disconnect the fog lights and see what happens but can some one enlighten me on what other possibilities it could be because this issue started when I messed with the fog lights.
I have a 2004 audi a4 1.8t Quattro with a 6 speed.

well turns out the fuse 53 in the middle between the 167 above the ccm was burned out causing a short and my battery had no charge on it so lets see how long this last
