Broken Symphony II radio buttons...

Broken Symphony II radio buttons...
Ok... so the last few days I noticed that my volume **** was a little... squishy for lack of a better term. It wasn't doing the distinct "click" (think of the feeling, not the noise) that it does as you turn the volume up.
So today while driving I was messing with it a little and gave it a little tug and the whole **** came off. Looking inside, I notice that there is a little plastic tab which has broken off from the inside of the ****.
The volume **** came off pretty easy, so I thought - maybe i'll switch it with the other **** since I dont use that **** as much. I pull that one out... and the tab is also broken (this may have been from pulling it out, or may have already been like that).
Anyway.... what are my options here? Can I buy just the volume and dial ***** from the dealership/aftermarket?
Can I buy the ***** off of someone who is doing an aftermarket headunit (doubt they'd sell just the *****)?
Can I fix the *****? or create some sort of unique **** to go in its place?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Oh yea... and I also noticed a little peeling on my headunit where the volume **** and HU connect.... how can I prevent this from getting worse?
P.S. - STFA for "broken volume *****" but did not STFA for "peeling preventative"
TIA
