- Faulty wastegate solenoid
- Wastegate solenoid harness is open or shorted
- Wastegate solenoid circuit poor electrical connection
I suspect during the installation of the supposed K&N CAI you caused an electrical issue.
Personal opinion: Ditch the intake and go back to the stock airbox. It actually brings in cold air instead of turbo heated air from underneath the hood.

My 2 cents on CAI's: a few years ago I put one on. Changing my own oil on a higher-mileage engine, I used to send out the oil for analysis about every 3rd change (3k intervals, dino oil on a non-Audi). The first time I sent it out after the cai installation the silica content went quite a way up. I repeated the test the next change and got the same high reading. Silica=sand=bye bye K&N. Next sample after returning to stock had the silica back to nominal.
